Vizzini
I am new to using Version control all together and new to Plastic SCM. What am I doing wrong here? Is there a common mistake I made? THANKS Viz
Jesus
Let me be corrected by a moderator if necessary. The reason why this happens is because Plastic keeps a history of the changes you make in your repositories, that's why later you can see all the changes you were making at another time. I understand that storing that data, especially if you do a lot of checkins, enlarges the size of the repository.
Vizzini
Dang its just crazy that it would be this large after less than a month. Should I delete the "saved" and "intermediate" folders from what is updated in the repository? Someone mentioned that too me saying that they are not needed. idk any ideas to lower are welcome. blue
Hi @Vizzini, As @Jesus mentioned, it happens because Plastic keeps a history of the changes in the repo. To trim the size of storage, we have recently added a feature called "Archiving Revisions". You will need Plastic SCM version 10.0.16.6241 or above. Click here to see the feature and how to use it. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks,
