korymiller Posted April 7, 2011 Report Share Posted April 7, 2011 Hello, I have been running Plastic 2.5 for quite a while now and today I tried to install the eclipse plugin (it was not installed previously). I downloaded the 3.0 client component and plugin pack (not the full installation) and ran the installer, everything installed successfully but when I try to open Plastic I get the following error..... Binary stream does not contain a valid BinaryHeader, 0 possible causes, invalid stream or object version change between serialization and deserialization. xxx.xx.xxx.xxx:xxxx Plastic client can't continue and will be closed The server path still appears to be correct and I believe the configuration settings as supposed to remain unchanged. psantosl Posted April 8, 2011 Report Share Posted April 8, 2011 Hi there! Running 2.5!!?? Wow! That's old folk! The problem you've is that 2.5 server is not compatible with 3.0 client, just that.
