bjurstrom
When I run the Plastic SCM GUI how can I tell who the currently logged in user is? Also, is there a way to log in as a different user?
psantosl
Hi, No, there's no way right now, and yes, we're aware of it... so we don't have a excuse! Sorry!! We must add it! Of course, you can always go to the configuration settings and check which is the user you're using to log in... but no other way right now. From the CLI you can run cm whoami Which will tell you who you're... About changing the "login", right now only changing your connection setup... you know, go to preferences... Thanks pablo
deanaug
Here's a (very) roundabout way to display the current user from the GUI: Setup: - Select Preferences, go to Comments options - For Comments auto-text, select UserName from dropdown - Select Apply/OK to put in effect Usage: - Now any time you open Pending changes, the Comments block has your username pre-filled (even if there are currently no changes pending in the workspace).
