Hello,
I'm new to using Unity with Plastic SCM, and to work I generally switch from my desktop to my laptop depending on where I am. I have a game I've been developing on my desktop, that works completely fine so far. However, when I tried adding it into Plastic SCM so I can create a new workspace on my laptop using the repo, all of the .meta files' contents are appearing as question marks, and not actually holding any of the information. So as you can imagine, I open up my project on my laptop and it's completely broken because all of the GUID's and other useful information from the .meta files are not there.
I've added a screenshot of what my project's repo is holding for basically all the .meta files.
I have tried deleting all the .meta files on my laptop's project folder, and that did allow it to become functioning. But this didn't solve my issue because all of the references and other information that is being held within those files were regenerated and wiped clean. Therefore things like my sprite sheets were no longer sliced. Materials were missing references. Etc. Everything seemed it needed to be manually fixed, which I'd rather not spend the time doing..
My Unity's Version Control is set to "Visible Meta Files", and honestly I'm not completely certain that has anything to do with this. But after all my Google searching I've decided to post here and hope that it's some silly setting or something that I completely missed.
