jpadgett Posted July 2, 2012 Report Share Posted July 2, 2012 After migrating to 4.1, I opened the GUI and noticed in my "Items in workspace" tab that all of my files show up - but only the root directory shows as "Controlled". All of the project folders and sub folders and files show as "Private" - but in 3.0 they all showed as "Controlled". I wanted to ask about his before running "Add directory tree to source control" in case there is an underlying issue I need to take care of. Anyone run into this or have advice on it? manu Posted July 3, 2012 Report Share Posted July 3, 2012 Hello jpadgett, as the result of the migration from 3 to 4 you have a new repository with your old version history, a new workspace is needed to download (update operation) the new Plastic SCM 4 repository content. By default, opening the GUI for the first one you will only see the root item as controlled, one you perform the update operation Plastic will download all your workspace files into your workspace.
