Sometimes when a checkin fails, for example if a merge is required, the checkin comment is deleted. This is a minor minor issue, but a bit annoying if you have entered a long comment. I'm testing with one of the latest releases and the "Merge now" and "Commit changes in other branch" options are saving the comment correctly.
