Hi,

Just ran the "cm checkdabase" on our repository and got a lot of warnings:

50 warnings "Item 517192 haven't got revisions in database rep_7."

250 000 warnings "ACL -1 pointed by object 510923 does not exist in database rep_7."

650 warnings "Branch -1 pointed by revision 529619 does not exist in database rep_7."

1 warning "Parent revision 524371 for revision 524520 does not exist in database rep_7"

100 warnings "Revision 508447 haven't got data in database rep_7"

8 warnings "Owner 529603 for revision data 529606 does not exists in database rep_7. Revision data unreachable"

90 000 warnings "Revision data 16 haven't got object entry in database rep_7"

NOTE: This repository is pretty large and has undergone import from SourceSafe to Plastic3 and then upgrade from Plastic3 to Plastic4.

I wonder what is the severity of each warning? What are the risks of those? And if there is a tool to fix such issues?

Hello immitev,

don't worry, they are not dangerous. As I said in this thread: http://www.plasticscm.net/index.php?/topic/1177-checkdatabase-errors/page__fromsearch__1 the cm checkdatabase is only a support command that it's useful when the support team is debugging an issue. There's no fix command since they are not real errors.

You can ignore this warnings.
