EdDev
Hello, Just tried to install the WebUI and encountered a problem after following the process mentioned in the blog. I have installed IIS on my W7 PC, imported the ZIP and configured it as instructed. When opening the browser for localhost/plastic, I get this error: HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid. Can anyone help? Thanks, Ed.
calbzam
Hello, I´ve been checking some info about the error, and this post explains some solutions that may help you: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/dotnetstocktradersampleapplication/thread/6e79cb01-ffb0-439c-8e1c-505a29b87671 If it doesn´t work I will try to install WEB UI (same steps as you) in a clean machine in order to reproduce the error. EdDev
Hey Carlos, That helped a bit (I had to open some other ones as well): (<section name="handlers" overrideModeDefault="Allow" />) But now I got stuck with another error: HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden I guess it wants to list the plastic folder (why?). Currently, the plastic folder looks like this: Directory of C:\inetpub\wwwroot\plastic 03/12/2013 11:47 AM <DIR> . 03/12/2013 11:47 AM <DIR> .. 03/12/2013 11:47 AM <DIR> bin 03/12/2013 11:47 AM <DIR> chartscripts 03/12/2013 11:47 AM <DIR> Configuration 03/12/2013 11:47 AM <DIR> Content 11/30/2012 11:12 AM 1,496 Error.html 04/19/2012 10:10 AM 63 Global.asax 03/12/2013 11:47 AM <DIR> Scripts 03/12/2013 11:47 AM <DIR> storage 03/12/2013 11:47 AM <DIR> Views 10/16/2012 09:43 AM 13,043 Web.config Thanks, Ed. EdDev
OK, solved that too... had to add "Application Development Features" to the IIS. Working now! Huray... :-) Thanks for the tips.
