Xorcist
I was trying to change Plastic to check changes by file contents rather than timestamps (through the preferences dialog), and when I clicked Apply I got this error message: and had to cancel out .It surprisingly kept the box checked, even after reopening it: But plastic did not seem to be using the check contents method, as I added and removed a space from a file, and then saved it, and plastic still showed a change was made to the file. Is this a known error? any ideas why it might happen or how I might be able to get around it. I find it more often than not, that I change a file, test my change, then revert it, and don't want it marked as changed, because it really hasn't... calbzam
Which Plastic version are you working with? I´will try to reproduce the error. Best regards, Carlos
Xorcist
Sorry for the delay, my version is: 4.1.10.407 - Gotham P.S. This does not happen if I access the preferences via the plastic gui, it only happen if I open the preferences from the right click context menu entry. calbzam
Hi, Are you using Shell extension, right? I´ve reproduced the error applying some preference changes using Shell extension. A workaround is using Plastic GUI. It works fine, but we will try to fix the problem ASAP. Thanks! Regards, Carlos
