Amimoller
Hi, We have a case where the newest revision of a file was on the main branch. At some point someone notices that this file is no longer at the latest revision on the main branch. Looking at history we can just see that the file is now and older revision on the main branch. The 2d revision tree doesn't show anything useful (or we don't know how to turn it on), but manually diffing each change we see that at some point someone first merge from main to his branch and then straight back to main. The weird thing is that the first merge from main to his branch shows no change to this file but the merge back does show one. But why is there then not a new revision of the file? This makes tracking the change very time consuming. I have added a picture of the 2d history view Also in the 2d revision tree it would be nice if there was an option to toggle the display of changeset number for each visible change. Cheers! manu
Hello, are you using the cloaked feature? Which Plastic SCM version? A full diagram would be nice to understand the case. If you want you can write us the support at codicesoftware dot com to review it with more detail.
