Pavan.c Posted January 30, 2017 Report Share Posted January 30, 2017 Hi all, I installed plastic proxy server and Configured using this link ->https://www.plasticscm.com/documentation/administration/plastic-scm-version-control-administrator-guide.shtml#Chapter4:Usingaproxyserver Configured plastic client and gave destination folder to store the files in cache. manu Posted January 30, 2017 Report Share Posted January 30, 2017 Hello Pavan, can you please edit the "plasticcached.log.txt" file and set it to DEBUG? It will generate more log lines. Please post it later so we can check the potential issues. Double check the user running the Plastic SCM cache daemon is able to reach the destination folder, double check the permissions. Thanks. manu Posted January 30, 2017 Report Share Posted January 30, 2017 Here you have the reason: 2017-01-30 19:17:45,671 DEBUG CacheHandler - Server 192.168.1.2:8087 is not allowed to use a proxy server due to license type. manu Posted January 31, 2017 Report Share Posted January 31, 2017 H Pavan, you basically need to check the user that is running the Plastic Proxy service is hacer read/write permissions for the path you chose as the "<CachePath>".
