Ulimo
Hi! I have been trying to get another pc in our lan to connect to the Plastic SCM server. But the client that tries to connect get the error: "Out of memory. Plastic client can't continue and will be closed.". That message really dont give me much information to work on how to fix it. Both the server and client is at the latest version of plastic SCM. I have been trying with different authentication methods aswell with no success. Any help is appreciated! Thanks! manu
Wow. The client is trying to do something really really bad.... Can you please enable the plastic gui log: http://www.plasticscm.com/infocenter/technical-articles/kb-enabling-logging-for-plastic-scm-part-i.aspx and send us the result? Can you also check if the cm is working fine or also affected? Are you using windows, linux or macos? How many RAM do you have?
Ulimo
Starting with last two questions Windows, 12 gb of ram on this client.

manu
Can you delete all the files in your "C:\Users\Manuel\AppData\Local\plastic5" directory but the "client.conf" and the "plastic.workspaces" files? Then try it again.
Ulimo
Im a bit confused atm, I got a "plastic4" folder, tryied first to delete everything but client.conf etc. No success. Also tryied to delete the plastic4 folder and did a full reinstall for the latest version. Still it recreated "plastic4" and got the same error. manu
The plasticX directory stores all the configuration my bet was that maybe something in the prefs was causing the memory error.... Is the cm working fine? In the log you posted the stacktrace is missing, is due to you removed it or is not written by plastic? (I imagine is the second one)
Ulimo
cm seems to be working fine, stacktrace were not written unfortunately. Thanks for your help so far, fast responses!
