AidanDiffey
Hello. I have recently updated Plastic on Linux (Centos running XFCE) to version 6.0.16.1746 and when I access the branch explorer I get the following error: Icon 'unknown' not present in theme I also cannot see the branch explorer. Please can you tell me how to resolve this issue?

AidanDiffey
OK. I have fixed that issue now by selecting the Gnome icon set instead of the Adwaita icon set but I still cannot see anything in the branch explorer. Can anyone help with this? manu
Hello @AidanDiffey, I have some questions: Can you tell me how did you upgrade Plastic? How did you change the gnome icon to another one? Can you also provide the log again? Van you give the ls -l -R output for the theme directory? Thanks. The log you initially enabled, you shared a few lines above this thread. 26 minutes ago, AidanDiffey said: >> Not sure where this is on Centos and Xfce. Any ideas? This should be the path and the command to use: ls /opt/plasticscm5/theme/ -l -R
AidanDiffey
Attached theme.txt is the output of ls /opt/plasticscm5/theme/ -l -R Regarding the non existing branches, this appears to be different dependant on the project that I am connecting to. I am trying to get more information from the log file. Is there any way to downgrade to V5.4 of the client from the yum repo? theme.txt
manu
Hi @AidanDiffey, I have just checked and you are having all our icons correctly installed, can you provide me the application log? I want to check if we have more details about the missing icon. 20 hours ago, AidanDiffey said: Regarding the non existing branches, this appears to be different dependant on the project that I am connecting to. manu
Hi, did you manage to fix this?
AidanDiffey
I did manage to fix this by changing my Icon set however I do know of another person who is having the same issue. I am using Xfce and he is using Gnome. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47638329/plasticscm-icon-unknown-not-present-in-theme)
manu
Oh! That's exactly why I came back Which OS theme are you using? You mentioned with gnome you partially fix it. BTW, I have just installed Centos + Plastic and works out of the box, I'm wondering what I'm missing.
AidanDiffey
I am using CentOS 7 with Xfce as the X11 user interface. I managed to get it working by changing the icon set. The other person is using Gnome which may have a different icon set.
manu
Hello @AidanDiffey, can you suggest the other person your workaround? I assume you are both from the same team, right?
AidanDiffey
Check out the stack overflow article. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47638329/plasticscm-icon-unknown-not-present-in-theme When Xfce was installed it installed Gnome-legacy icons which fixed the issue. manu
Thanks @AidanDiffey, I'm the one answering the SO topic. It's interesting I don't need the package solving the issue for your coworker, this is what I have: [codice@localhost ~]$ yum list installed | grep gnome-icon-theme gnome-icon-theme.noarch 3.12.0-1.el7 @anaconda gnome-icon-theme-extras.noarch 3.12.0-1.el7 @anaconda gnome-icon-theme-symbolic.noarch 3.12.0-2.el7 @anaconda
