satputerohan
Hi guys, I am trying to install the OS X version of PlasticSCM installer Version 5.0.44.533. When I try to open the .app file extracted from the downloaded zip, it just does nothing. Nothing pops up, no installer window at all. I tried copying it in application folder and everything else I could think of. Can you please help me out with this? I have it running perfectly with my Windows machine. For the records, I am on OS X version 10.8.5. Cheers!
calbzam
Hi, Could review if you have admin permissions to run it? Could you: Launch System Preferences from the Apple menu. Choose “Security & Privacy” and then click the “General” tab, followed by clicking the lock icon in the corner to unlock the settings. Look for “Allow applications downloaded from:” and choose “Anywhere”. Accept the security warning and allow. If you download the installer again, the issue persists? Only to be sure that the file is not corrupt. Regards, Carlos
satputerohan
Yes, I had done that. It is already set to anywhere. I also tried re-downloading the package, tried the older plastic scm package as well. No dice. It's not doing anything. It's very strange...
