liam.page
I was working on some tools that use the Plastic CLI, and whenever I referenced an existing shelf with "cm shelveset delete", I kept getting a message that read: Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. After reading through the documentation and not getting very far, I thought I'd do a sanity check by creating, applying, and deleting shelves from the GUI, but the operation doesn't seem to initiate correctly. Is there anything in particular that needs to be set up in order to delete a shelf?
calbzam
Hi, Is this a cloud or local server? We will need to review the log to debug the error. I guess you user has permissions enabled to delete changesets, right? Regards, Carlos.
liam.page
Hey Carlos, We're working with a local server, and my profile has permission to delete changesets. Any chance you could point me to the file that contains the log information for debugging? All the best, Liam
calbzam
The file should be located at: C:\Program Files\PlasticSCM5\server\plastic.debug.log.txt Regards, Carlos.

liam.page
Uploading another debug log after ensuring a few attempts to delete were attempted on the tail end of the time stamps. Only lines that look out of place to my eye are the ones that contain 2021-05-19 10:24:07,256 (null) (null) (null) (null) INFO ConnectionFromClientList.Collector - 0 connections in the list Though I'm not sure what to do with that information plastic.debug.log.txt
calbzam
Hi, I'm afraid I can't find any error. Could you attach also the client logs? C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\plastic4\logs Regards, Carlos.
