I can check out and push file been checked out another user in cloud repo

Why am I able to do that and why I can't see another users checked out files in Plastic window and inside Unreal 5?

Hi Oleg,

 

First you would need to set up some lock rules. 

Then, whenever a user runs a checkout operation they will get the lock for that file, preventing other users from checking out and submitting that same file.

It is specified for on-premise servers, but mos information can be applied for cloud ones.

Okay, this problem happened again. I checked documentation about check rules, looks like I don't need specific rules for our project, we use Unreal 5 plugin and do not do anything extraordinary. I have to say that

Just doesn't work for some cases. RN again my developer have checked out file but after that I checked that out by my self and pushed it.
