Markus
Are there any command line arguments to fast-export? --help doesn't say much at all. The reason why I'm asking is that I am forced to move one repository from plastic to hg. But since plastic is very good at binary files and hg is not, I need to split the new repo into two, one for code and one for large binary files. Is it possible to export only a partial directory structure of a plastic repository? EDIT: Nevermind. I found out that "hg convert" can exclude files when importing. cm fast-export --help Export a repository using a fast-export format.
manu
Hi Markis, nop I'm afraid that during the fast-export you can't excluding files or directories. You can manually edit the fast-export files but I'm afraid it's not very handy. -> Happy to know you did it with "hg convert"!! can you give us more details about how you did it? I'm more used to use git while splitting repositories but not with hg. One question, if Plastic is better handling big binaries and so on why are you moving the repo to hg?
