nick.korn
I'm currently looking into storing my Unity asset files as text files. I followed the information at: http://codicesoftware.blogspot.com/2008/03/custom-file-types.htmlUnfortunately when I add ".unity:txt" to the filetypes.conf file it doesn't seem to make any difference. Plastic is still treating my .unity files as binary. I can open the files in a text editor and see that they are clearly text. Any thoughts on why the changes to my filetypes.conf are not causing anything to happen?
manu
Hello Nick, the filetypes.conf file only works when you are adding new files to the Plastic SCM control, once the files are already in the repository the filetypes.conf file will not make any effect. You will need to change the revision type using the GUI context menu for the item or the command line command "cm crt". Best regards.
