JamesThorpe
I just upgraded my Linux installation of Plastic using the instructions detailed here - specifically those for CentOS. After copying back the backed up files, including plasticd.lic, the server is still giving the "limited by date evaluation license has expired" error. I've tried re-downloading my current licence file and applying it to no avail. How can I move forward here? Thanks! James
JamesThorpe
Hmm, not sure what's happening - this used to have a Plastic 4 installation on it, and it seems the plasticsd command was starting that one somehow. Plastic5 is now running and properly licensed - sorry for the noise!
manu
Ok! don't worry. Just in case review if the Plastic 4 installation directory is the first one on the PATH variable or if the /etc/init.d symlink is correctly targeting the right script: codice@ubuntu:/opt/plasticscm5$ ls -l /etc/init.d/plasticsd lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 33 Sep 2 09:34 /etc/init.d/plasticsd -> /opt/plasticscm5/server/plasticsd
