nick.korn
I have accidentally locked myself out of changing the path permissions. I set ALL USERS to denied for the path permissions at the same time I went to set up my user as the only one with permissions for the given path. Unfortunately it seems like I didn't add myself so now I can't bring back permissions. Is there anyway to fix the situation I have caused?
manu
Hello Nick, Plastic SCM has a root user that can be set as follows: 1) Open the repositories view. 2) Right click any of your repos. 3) Select "Repository server permissions" 4) Set the "Owner" user to your user. Once you are the root user you'll should be able to re assign the permissions. Tell me if it helps
nick.korn
Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try it out. Decided to back up my data and recreate the repositories so I could get back to work.
manu
That's a pity. Well if it happens again you know now how to proceed. What you can do right now is setting a real repository server owner, removing the current "ALL USERS" value.
