RobB Posted May 13, 2016 Report Share Posted May 13, 2016 We have just relocated our server and a pair of clients to another temporary location and we are finding that our clients are being refused connection to the server. The server is visible from the client configuration when the network is scanned but when a connection attempt is made, the error is reported. No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. All machines are running Windows 8.1. Server version 5.4.16.721 Client version 5.4.16.738 Any suggestions at this point as to how to proceed would be very much appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
manu Posted May 16, 2016 Report Share Posted May 16, 2016 It sounds like a Windows firewall denying the connection for the 8087 port. Can you check it?
