mfoster
Is PlasticSCM Certified to work with PowerBuilder 12.1? In the last 13 years we have used only PowerBuilder's PBNative Source Control and we are trying to evaluate PlasticSCM, yet when I try to connect to Plastic SCM, PowerBuilder crashes. I have set PlasticSCM's preferences in accordance with the PlasticSCM & PowerBuilder installation guide. We are on a Windows 7 platform. manu
Hi mfoster, PowerBuilder 12.X is not tested, but since the communication is made by the scc it should work. I'll test it tomorrow to see if we have a problem there. Regards, Manu

mfoster
Okay; to let you know what I have done in the meantime - I have uninstalled and re-installed Plastic - and the same thing is still happening.
manu
Hi mfoster, Until we find what is happening with the PowerBuilder plugin you can take a look to this link and learn how you can work with plastic without any plugin: http://www.plasticscm.com/features/transparent-scm.aspx It's very straight-forward and easy. mfoster
Hi: It is me again, I have decided that I have missed a step in this entire process and it is due to the fact that the only source control I have ever used is PBNative so I have gone back to the drawing board. I have created a repository and a workspace so I assume the next step is to get my source code into the repository – but I have yet to figure out how to do that. Can you point me to the document that walks me through that? Most of the documentation appears geared towards those with a background in version control – and if you have ever seen PBNative – you understand my experience with source control is minimal. I look forward to hearing from you. MJ
