gregsohl Posted April 5, 2012 Report Share Posted April 5, 2012 The downloads section offers 3 options for the system: "For new installations" "For existing installations" "Basic installer" Which should I use to update an existing installation, client and server? Doesn't seem right to use "For new installations". The "For existing installations" says it only includes client and plugins. Should I use the "Basic installer"? Guidance please. manu Posted April 9, 2012 Report Share Posted April 9, 2012 Hi Greg, sorry, it's a little bit confusing you can use any installer to perform an upgrade, all are valid BUT if your installation is a complete installation you have to use the first one, if you only have the client installer you can choose the second or the third. A quick summary: 1) For new installations: It has the client, server, and third party integrations. Use it if you have both sides already installed. 2) For existing installations: Client and third party integrations. Use it when you have the client and third party integrations already installed. 3) Basic installer: Only client. Use it when you only have the already client installed.
