chun
Hi, I created an xlink which I want to change. How do you remove a readonly xlink which has been set up for a workspace which has a few changesets after the xlinking ? If I delete the xlinked directory, it shows up in the pending changes as removed locally and trying to update the xlink directory displays messages that say there are pending changes which you can't check in because they are readonly xlink files and directories. Thanks, Chun.
manu
You can right click in the xlink and choose delete, then commit the change and create a new xlink, writable if you want it.
chun
Thanks, I couldn't do it from the right click Plastic menu in the Items in Workspace or from the Windows Explorer right click Plastic menu - the option to delete was not enabled. I had to use the normal Windows Explorer delete which deleted the folder directory.
manu
It was not enabled? That's quite strange!!! Was the xlink psychically on disk? Was it checked out or something? At the end of the day if you remove it manually using the windows explorer and then you find the "Manually deleted items" in the Pending changes view the result is going to be the same.
