Mikael Kalms
Hi, what are the backup/restore policies for Plastic Cloud? More specifically: If we delete an entire repository in Plastic Cloud, can we have the repository restored later? Are there any limitations (time limits etc) we need to be aware of? If content within a repository is deleted (example: a single changeset or a single branch is deleted), can we have that single changeset or branch restored later? Are there any limitations we need to be aware of?
calbzam
Hi Michael, - We keep the databases for 1 week, so if you delete a repository by mistake please contact us as soon as possible and we will be able to recover it. After that, we remove the cloud databases. - It's not possible to remove changesets/branches in the cloud repositories. - If you are following a distrubuted workflow, you will always have a local copy of the repository so it can also work as a local backup. Regards, Carlos.
