Svarry
We are using Plastic SCM for unreal, and in the engine, when a file is locked by another user, an icon is shown on it. All is great. However, in the plastic SCM client, no info is shown on the file that it is locked by someone else, just the normal green checkmark. Is it possible to display when file is checked out and locked by someone else?
calbzam
Hi, I'm afraid the lock information is available in the Gluon UI but not at the moment in Plastic GUI. Sorry for the inconveniences, Carlos.

Joevin
Hi, Is there a command line to get locked files on the actual branch ? BR, Joevin
calbzam
Hi, The locked items are per repo, not per branch. You can run the following commands. cm listlocks --help Regards, Carlos.
Francois Bertrand
Sorry to necro, but has there been any update to this? Working on binary files this can be very useful, instead of waiting for an error message. Cheers, Francois
ollieblanks
Unfortunately, there has not been much movement on this as this would require a significant overhaul of how the full Plastic SCM client works under the hood (as it is changeset-based and not file-based like Gluon). The suggested workflow with binary files where you need to see the lock status would still be to use the Gluon GUI or manually with the cm listlocks command. That being said, there have been advancements that have increased the likelihood of this feature being feasible. It is a highly requested feature, and we do not plan to just ignore our users feedback, so thank you for sharing.
