tom.peters
Good Day! Our central/master Plastic server is accessed by our two administrators (I am one) via Remote Desktop Connection. I am able to start and use the Plastic GUI on that server with no issue, but the other admin cannot. Is this something that should work? The other admin is an admin on the Windows server, itself, the SQL Server, and the Plastic Server. Should we both be able to use the Plastic GUI on the same machine using our credentials? Please note that we are using UP permissions for Plastic although we are moving to LDAP. Thanks, Tom
manu
Hi cyberTom! yes, you should be able to use plastic, each admin with different accounts. If you both get the Plastic GUI opened with the same user it's because it's using the same "client.conf" file and that's is because there's a "client.conf" file at "C:\Program Files\PlasticSCM5\client", remove it and run "plastic --configure" to get Plastic configured again, the "client.conf" should be this time created at "C:\Users\ZZXXXWWW\AppData\Local\plastic4".
