wyattetal
Is there a way to define a default ignore.conf? Can this be done at a variety of levels?
calbzam
Hi, By default, the "ignore.conf" is a client side configuration file customizable per developer. But in the .742 version we have released the next feature: https://www.plasticscm.com/download/releasenotes/oldernotes?release=5.4.16.743 From now on, all filter configuration files ('ignore.conf', 'hidden_changes.conf', 'cloaked.conf', 'readonly.conf' and 'writable.conf') will check the global config as well as current workspace config and local client config files. A 'workspacetree' directory will be expected for each configured repository. Users/admins can store their config files inside it. For instance, you can configure your 'plastic-global-config' repository to store a global cloaked configuration for all its repositories: /allrepos/workspacetree/cloaked.conf This closes the following user voice request: http://plasticscm.uservoice.com/forums/15467-general/suggestions/9393426-extend-global-configuration-to-cover-cloaked-ig Regards, Carlos.
