derkork
I am on a machine that I haven't used for some time. It has still some workspaces configured against a PlasticSCM server that has been removed months ago. However when I start PlasticSCM client, the client tries to connect to that server and since it's not there it will run into a timeout, displaying a timeout message. Until that message comes, the UI is totally frozen and cannot be used. After that message the client again tries to connect to that server and is freezing again. After some minutes I'm finally able to open up the workspaces list and delete the workspaces that refer to the old server. The UI should not freeze when communicating with the server. mig
Hi derkork, What Plastic SCM version are you using? I just check the latest (5.4.16.762) and I couldn't reproduce your issue. We fixed that behavior a while ago, so it makes sense that the Plastic SCM client you ran had been installed before that fix was released. Thank you! manu
Hi Jan, yes, even if it takes a few seconds the GUI will finally open and you will be able to continue working.
