Cant install Plastic on Amazon EC2

Recommended Posts

hi everyone

I have a little problem and dont know how to solve it.

I setup a amazon EC2 instance and then tried to follow this https://www.plasticscm.com/plastic-for-linux/index.html

But I cannot add any plastic repo.

I always get this error message when i try to "sudo apt-get update" my repos:

"Get:2 https://www.plasticscm.com ./ InRelease

96% [sources 27.9 MB] [2 InRelease gpgv 12.7 kB] [Waiting for headers] [1 PackaSplitting up /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/www.plasticscm.com_plasticrepo_plasticscm-lateIgn https://www.plasticscm.com ./ InRelease

E: GPG error: https://www.plasticscm.com ./ InRelease: Clearsigned file isn't valid, got 'NODATA' (does the network require authentication?)"

Has anyone of you an idea how I can fix this?

Thank you a lot!

Regards Moritz

Hi all,

We've detected an issue in our linux repository server which caused this apt-get error. Executing apt-get update should end correctly now, and allow you to properly install Plastic.

If you still experience problems, please try the following steps:

  1. Remove the conflicting file: sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/www.plasticscm.com_plasticrepo_plasticscm-*_Ubuntu%5f14.04_._InRelease
  2. Clear the lists cache: sudo mv /var/lib/apt/lists /var/lib/apt/lists.old && sudo mkdir -p /var/lib/apt/lists/partial
  3. Run sudo apt-get update again

We're sorry for all these inconveniences! We hope that you'll get your servers up and running in no time.

Regards,

Miguel
