momoetomo
hi everyone I have a little problem and dont know how to solve it. I setup a amazon EC2 instance and then tried to follow this https://www.plasticscm.com/plastic-for-linux/index.html But I cannot add any plastic repo. I always get this error message when i try to "sudo apt-get update" my repos: "Get:2 https://www.plasticscm.com ./ InRelease 96% [sources 27.9 MB] [2 InRelease gpgv 12.7 kB] [Waiting for headers] [1 PackaSplitting up /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/www.plasticscm.com_plasticrepo_plasticscm-lateIgn https://www.plasticscm.com ./ InRelease E: GPG error: https://www.plasticscm.com ./ InRelease: Clearsigned file isn't valid, got 'NODATA' (does the network require authentication?)" Has anyone of you an idea how I can fix this? Thank you a lot! Regards Moritz
alasdair
I'm having the exact same issue, maybe something wrong on the Plastic side?
warmaha
I have been getting that "E: GPG error" error when trying to do "apt-get update" on Ubuntu for couple days now. Tried to download keys again with wget, but that didn't help, still getting same error with apt-get.
manu
Hi! We are working to get it fixed. Sorry for the inconveniences.
mig
Hi all, We've detected an issue in our linux repository server which caused this apt-get error. Executing apt-get update should end correctly now, and allow you to properly install Plastic. If you still experience problems, please try the following steps: Remove the conflicting file: sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/www.plasticscm.com_plasticrepo_plasticscm-*_Ubuntu%5f14.04_._InRelease Clear the lists cache: sudo mv /var/lib/apt/lists /var/lib/apt/lists.old && sudo mkdir -p /var/lib/apt/lists/partial Run sudo apt-get update again We're sorry for all these inconveniences! We hope that you'll get your servers up and running in no time. Regards, Miguel
warmaha
Luckily my Plastic SCM server was running all the time ok, just got nasty alarms from system because failed update. Ye, had to clear the lists cache before update started to work again. Now everything looks good again. Thanks.
