Some GUI based (or more user friendly options) to reduce the storage are on the roadmap under design at the moment. But in the near future, I'm afraid the only option is using "cm archive".

We are still working in a more user friendly feature for the future so this operations can be a bit more user friendly.

Hi,
In addition to the above communication, to better clarify it:
Plastic clients contain encryption components that require they be on the encryption control list, and therefore affected by these restrictions. This is not Unity's decision. The products have a US govt classification and so we have to comply with that.

Do you have this repo structure in some Plastic cloud organization? I'm guessing if you can temporary invite my user (calba@codicesoftware.com) so I can directly check your same repo structure with XLinks, symlinks... and debug it.
You are right that Windows Junctions/symlinks are not supported but it would be great to review your current repo strcuture for provide some feedback.

It seems something went wrong when moving the workspace.
Could you removedand re-crate the workspace in the same path? This way, the Plastic client shouldn't need to redownload all the data from the server.

I'm afraid it's not currently possible in Gluon. Could you include this feedback also in the Plastic X forum? I think we can consider this feature for PlasticX and GluonX.

Hi,
It seems there is a problem with the workspace metadata. Could you attach the Plastic client logs?
Do you have any guess about the steps you followed in this workspace?
Do you have any external tool that could be accessing to the workspace metadata folder ".plastic"?
Re-creating the workspace (you can do it in the same path so you don't need to re-download the project) should be a workaround but it would be great to understand how the workspace ended up in this status.

Hi,
This error normally happens when you had the item checked-out in a different workspace. Potentially the workspace was removed while the lock was not released.
You can list the locks via:
cm lock list --server=Organization@cloud
And then manually release the lock via:
cm unlock --help

Hi @Wouter, the thing is:
- The Incoming Changes view needs to check-out all the items during the update because it's internally calculating the merge conflicts between the files to be downloaded and the locally changed files.
- If you use the Update button in the "Workspace Explorer" view instead, I think you can achive what you want.
